When it comes to choosing your wedding venue, consider finding a location where you can hold both the ceremony and the reception. By choosing one place that serves to accommodate both aspects of your day, you’ll save yourself from having to pay two different venue fees.
Perhaps you’ll choose to get married at your church and have the reception in their dining hall or gym. Another option would be to book an event center that has a lovely outdoor area for your ceremony and a catering hall for your reception. Maybe you’ll book a historic inn that has a lovely garden area for your ceremony and vintage charm with various rooms in the house for the reception. You could consider booking a hotel with a ballroom space that can be transformed for the ceremony and reception during cocktail hour.
By choosing a place that serves double duty, you’ll avoid the extra expense of an added venue fee, not to mention rentals for both locations.
So tell us:
are you booking a double-duty venue for your big day?
