While we are definitely in love with everything wedding, we know that our audience loves all things beautiful. So when this stunning fashion editorial came into our inbox, we just knew you would love it as much as we do! The 2018 bridal designs are full of beautiful wedding pantsuits as an alternative to wedding dresses. This shoot shows how bridal wear is becoming more and more inspired by everyday fashion.
From the photographer, Teneil:
There’s a fundamental obligation to inject depth into the beautiful things we create. I feel this applies to both the fashion and the weddings that I shoot. Here, I was able to achieve this depth by drawing inspiration from the Riddle of the Sphinx, a womanly yet youthful statue that symbolizes both defiance and femininity.
Weddings are full of romanticism. But for those not afraid to wear something less traditional, here is inspiration for an alternative to a wedding dress. Lightweight cotton with embellished details, replaces heavy materials and long trains. Structured styling and sophisticated tailoring create a sophisticated yet graceful silhouette when worn by a strong woman (who still loves a little frivolity)!
It was so wonderful photographing this modern woman against the features of Parc Broekhuizen. This idyllic wedding location in the Netherlands, with its modern Danish furnishings and gorgeous classic grounds, was the perfect backdrop for the timelessness that this woman represents.
