Not sure… we didn’t shortchange anything. Our rings were probably the least expensive, compared to average.

What was totally worth it:

Professional photography, of course! Not just for the photos, but Chloe helped so much with the actual flow at city hall since she had so much experience with weddings there. To my surprise, the professional makeup was also worth it. I rarely wear makeup, so I figured a DIY would be special enough. But the professional job looked extra amazing in the photos! Also, getting an Airbnb with my family; it was so nice to spend the night before the wedding with my parents and brother. And, having a super-fancy, gastronomic dinner with only eight of us. The best wedding food we’ve ever had!

What was totally not worth it:

We think we did a good job of not doing the things that wouldn’t have been worth it. We stuck with things that brought us joy!
